Secondary Physical Education (PE) Teacher Required – March 2019 – Trafford

£110 - £160 per day

PK Education’s Manchester branch are working with a desirable secondary school in the Trafford area in order to recruit a dynamic teacher of female PE & GCSE Dance for a long term (and potentially permanent) position starting in March 2019

Are you a dynamic PE teacher? Do you also have experience teaching dance? Are you able to use your passion for your subject to engage learners in making progress learning both practical and theory PE?

The school are looking for a dynamic teacher to join their friendly PE department. The successful candidate will be required to teach KS3 and KS4 Physical Education (PE) to classes across a range of abilities. Lessons should challenge students and be fully differentiated to ensure that learners of all abilities can make good progress. Ideally the school are looking for a teacher with experience teaching dance as well as PE.

This role would suit an experienced teacher with strong classroom management however NQT’s are also welcome to apply.

To be considered for the role you should have:

Recognised teaching qualification PGCE or equivalent (QTS).

Good classroom and behaviour management.

Strong subject knowledge of the PE curriculum including the new GCSE

Current DBS registered with the DBS Update Service – if you do not have a DBS registered online PK Education will provide full assistance in getting you one.
