Atalian Servest`s Finance Team are recruiting for a Accounts Receivable Assistant who will primarily be responsible for undertaking timely and accurate billing processes, along with resolving invoice queries to ensure payments are received on time. This is an exciting opportunity to join us and will suit an individual with great customer service and relationship-building skills!

Our preference is for candidates who possess an excellent telephone manner, outstanding customer service skills and who are adept at building rapport and long-lasting relationships with customers.

Attention to detail, high productivity and the ability to prioritise and work to tight deadlines are also vital personal attributes essential to being successful in this role. As too, is the ability to work effectively and efficiently, at pace and as such, we are looking for confident, robust individuals who are quick learners. Individuals who express a natural preference for working in a process-driven, systematic manner and can work autonomously with diligence and initiative are likely to succeed in this role.

The nature of the role demands that the most suitable candidates will demonstrate high levels of literacy and written English to issue effective written correspondence to our customers. You will demonstrate good levels of IT skills and will be proficient with Microsoft Office with particular emphasis on Excel.

Candidates with previous experience with Sales Ledger in an Accounting or Finance related role would be of real interest to us but this is not essential. Of greatest importance to us is the enthusiasm to learn and progress and the ability to multi-task and manage your workload effectively. You will need to be deadline aware and a real team player. You will carry out the role with tact and diplomacy, and with the ability to deal with challenges in a confident and professional manner.

In this role, you will be expected to:

- Raising and sending customer invoices
- Dealing with general customer queries
- Basic accounting system administration to include setting up new customer files
- Ensuring payments are received on time

You will have:

- A minimum of 4 GCSE`s or equivalent - and qualifications required specifically in Maths and English
- Confidence using Microsoft Office (Word, Excel and Outlook), with particular emphasis on Excel
- Understanding or knowledge of Access Accounts would be advantageous
- Experience of working in either an office or Finance environment - We are particularly keen to hear from you if you have a background, or competent skills gained from exposure to Sales Ledger
- Ability to prioritise workload to effectively meet tight deadlines
- Customer-focused, you will provide our customers with a quality service and will demonstrate flexibility to adapt as priorities change day-to-day
- High standards of integrity, confidentiality and discretion
- Outstanding communication skills - You will be a confident communicator, both over the phone and face to face
- Ability to build rapport with colleagues, suppliers and customers professionally and confidently
- Good levels of literacy & numeracy

Our working week is Monday to Friday, 09:00-17:30 however we support an agile and flexible working approach and seek to quantify achievement and output. As such, we have a degree of flexibility around working hours to fit both the needs of the business and our successful candidate.
