Reporting to the Projects Department Manager, you will be responsible for the production of project drawings and technical documentation for the companies range of products. The role requires a commercially astute engineer to work in a team alongside a contracts engineer to deliver projects on time and within budget.

The Company: With the company's success continuing to grow steadily, they are looking at expanding the work force on site in order to maintain production levels. They are a market leader within a highly traditional mechanical process industry. The business is growing quickly and they are looking at hiring enthusiastic and technically minded engineers who will help the business move forward further still. The Mechanical Design Engineer will receive support and development which will provide you with an excellent opportunity to further yourself and progress your career within a continually expanding business.

The Role: Within the remit of the role you will be designing mechanical parts and products using Pro Engineer. This will involve creating 3D models as well as 2D. Experience with any 3D design package is acceptable as training will be provided

Requirements:

* Mechanical Design experience

* Engineering design using 2D (AutoCAD) and 3D CAD packages

* Pro Engineer/Creo experience

* Experience with PDM/ERP software

* Sheet metal design, mechanical product design, design of mechanical parts
