An opportunity to work full-time as an LSA within a specialist all-through school, supporting students with autism.

Our client is currently looking for a number of Learning Support Assistants to join their support team, as part of a residential school supporting students between the ages of 4-18.

As a Learning Support Assistant, you will be required to support all learners either within small groups, 1-1 and 2-1. The role will involve personal care of students, and so experience in this area (with children or adults) would be preferable. The right candidate for this role will need to be passionate, supportive and resilient – and have the confidence and patience in dealing with students across the autistic spectrum. Specific experience with autism is not a pre-requisite, however the successful applicants will all have had experience as either a Teaching Assistant or Learning Support Assistant.

You will need to hold a current DBS for this position.

Please contact me on (phone number removed) to discuss the role in further detail. The school are currently interviewing and doing trial weeks so I would encourage you to apply, or call me to discuss further, at your earliest opportunity.

* Safeguarding and Vetting: Edgware Associates is committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and young people and expects all staff, applicants and clients to share this commitment.
