Darlington Building Society has an exciting opportunity available for a Financial Reporting Manager. Working in our Head office on a full time, permanent basis you will receive a highly competitive salary of £35,000 - £40,000 per annum.

The Financial Reporting Manager Role
The role will be to have responsibility for the production of accurate financial and regulatory reporting and analysis within required timescales. As part of a hardworking and committed team your key duties as the Financial Reporting Manager are outlined in the main duties section below.
Main Duties as our Financial Reporting Manager:
- To undertake all activities following Society procedures, policies, and guidelines and to adhere to the Regulators Rules, Codes of Practice and Policy Statements including the principles of Treating Customers Fairly and the Society Code of Ethics.
- To be aware of those activities which you and any other employee of the Company in respect of whom you have a line management function are permitted to be involved;
- To comply with any and all conduct rules which are from time to time issued by the FCA and/or the PRA and are applicable to your role.
- To maintain customer confidentiality ensuring compliance with the Data Protection Act/GDPR.
- To pro-actively maintain and promote all aspects of office or branch security and health and safety
- To continuously develop self and maintain knowledge following the Training and Competence Scheme guidelines
- To act as a Brand Ambassador for the Society and ensure levels of professionalism are maintained at all times
- To act as an ambassador for the Society’s risk culture and standards, demonstrating the highest standards of compliance behaviour at all times
Knowledge, Skills and Experience you’ll need as our Financial Reporting Manager:
The FRM should be self-motivated, adaptable, logical, and able to delegate effectively, with a hands-on approach, be a qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA or equivalent) and have the following attributes.
- Experience working with or within a Financial Services Organisation, or a minimum of 2 years post qualified experience outside of the Financial Services Sector
- Ability to produce and develop MI reporting and modelling
- Self-driven and highly motivated individual
- Excellent organisational and time management skills
