Our client had a vacancy in their Accounts team for either a full time (or part time) Accounts assistant.

Duties are predominately on the Purchase ledger, checking and entering invoices on their operators system, making daily/weekly supplier payments in sterling, euros and other currencies.

Dealing with supplier queries and resolving them, Reconciling supplier statements.

Checking multiple bank accounts for incoming receipts from our overseas clients – reporting incoming receipts to their Operations team.

General admin duties as required e.g. monitoring office and stationery supplies and reordering. Booking taxi’s and accommodation for visiting staff from our overseas offices. And lots more!

The role is varied, lots of different suppliers used in various locations in Europe adds to the interest of the role.

Training is on the job, Hours are 8.30 to 4.30 or 9.00 to 5.00 with half hour lunch break.

Candidates should have at least three years purchase ledger experience, and have their own car.

NB - They have recently reviewed their requirement for Saturday working in the office and have suspended this for the foreseeable future, Ops team are to be given a laptop and Saturday work will be rolled into the out of hours cover they provide on a rota basis
