This is NOT a cold calling role. This is about building relationships and increasing sales with existing customers.

The Sales Account Coordinator Role:

Reporting to the Internal Sales Manager the Sales Account Coordinator will work in a team of Internal Sales Executives and External Sales Managers to deliver sales budgets for all softwood products.

Role Accountabilities:

+ Making regular contact with customers and analysing the sales data on a daily basis to be up to speed with sales for each customer. 
+ Processing sales orders onto our system and other data entry tasks
+ Contacting customers who are behind trend to try to gain more orders.
+ Dealing with any customer complaints in a timely and acceptable fashion.
+ Understanding the ISO Quality system
+ Reporting back to the Internal Sales Manager of any queries or information that is necessary and to seek any help or guidance.
+ General tasks as needed across the department and business

About Your Skills & Experience:

+ Proven sales skills over the phone
+ Previous customer service experience, ideally in a sales environment
+ Excellent administration and processing skills
+ Good experience of Microsoft Office
+ Passionate about sales and customer service
+ Microsoft Office (Outlook / Excel / Word) to a good intermediate level.
+ Excellent attention to detail
+ Strong team player
+ Good level of mathematical understanding.
+ Good organisational skills
+ Good sense of humour
+ Self-motivated
+ Love to build customer relationships on the phone
+ Excellent time management skills 
+ A positive “can do” attitude even under pressure

Remuneration Package:

+ £22-25,000 pa depending upon experience 
+ Hours of work: 40 per week, 8am – 5pm with 1 hour for lunch
+ Holidays: 25 days per year plus 8 statutory holidays
+ Performance bonus: Annual payments dependent upon company and individual performance
+ Contributory pension scheme:
