Supply Coordinator – Insurance

Based in Tonbridge

£22,000 to £26,000

Our client based in Tonbridge are looking to recruit a Supply Coordinator to manage a range od external suppliers within Drying, Fire Damage, Building Contractors and other specialist suppliers.

You will be providing administrative support to the managing surveyor and team acting as an integral member of the team and operating across a broad range of tasks in and out of the office.

Job Role:

* Identifying weaknesses in the building claims network

* Developing and maintaining a place to rectify issues and action

* Designing procedures to identify quality prospective suppliers

* Manage and maintain the supplier information, reporting any concerns to manager

* Engaging with the Supplier Liaison Team

* Maintain and develop a suite of MI reports to monitor the performance of all network Contractors

* In conjunction with MS (and where applicable, members of the Claims Management Team) develop and manage the network of Buildings related suppliers through monthly/quarterly/bi- annual/annual meetings. The key focus being the management of each supplier to deliver market-leading results for claims cost control and customer service.

* Attend contractor/supplier meetings relating to new and renewing contracts

* Investigate and resolve customer complaints relating to alleged shortfalls in the quality of services (workmanship or other) from a network contractor or preferred Buildings supplier. This may necessitate visits to customers’ properties with all interested parties present

* Support and assist the SLT during holiday and surge periods as required

* Manage own diary, arrange customer site visit appointments and hotel accommodation for travel where applicable

Skills Needed:

* Excellent knowledge of the Home Insurance claims process with previous

* experience of working in the Home insurance industry

* Proven capability of negotiation and dispute resolution

* Previous experience of managing a network supply chain or similar role

* Demonstrable understanding of the customer service provision

* Must have excellent knowledge of Microsoft office products
