We are currently looking to recruit a Statistical Analyst who has the ability to dissect and analyse large healthcare-related datasets while producing actionable insights for internal teams and our Pharma/Biotech/CRO clients.

As part of the Analytics team, you will be responsible for identifying issues and opportunities hidden in the data and making recommendations on pricing, advertising tactics and strategy, profitability, revenue and project timelines.

We're looking for someone who knows their numbers, but specific industry experience is not required. Communication skills and teamwork are also key to success in this role as you will interact with internal teams and external clients to ensure the analytical results deliver to business objectives.

This role is located in our Head Office in Chorley, Lancashire, with some flexibility around being based in the office and from home.
Package description Up to 10% bonus, based on group, country and personal performance + benefits.
Main responsibilities Key roles and responsibilities of the Statistical Analyst are as follows –

Develop the pricing strategy and advertising plan for new business opportunities.
Assess the performance of the company’s projects through the statistical analysis of data by using projected revenue and costs.
Using statistical data analysis, advise project managers on ways to improve performance and increase profitability on current contracts.
Advise and provide advanced statistical, forecasting, and unique algorithmic solutions to data analysis challenges for all corporate projects under development.
Design analytical reports using SAS (Statistical Analysis System) processes that empower the company to reach its revenue goals and solve current business problems
Present complex data in a non-technical way. Develop and design compelling customer-facing stories/case studies that simplify advanced concepts in graphical format.
Become an expert with our proprietary predictive model. Analyse and interpret the model’s results. Make actionable recommendations for ensuring projects meet deadlines using the model’s results.

Ideal candidate To be considered for this exciting opportunity you will require the following skills and experience:

Ideally Degree qualified in Mathematics, Statistics, Actuarial Science, Economics or other quantitative discipline
Basic knowledge of databases, querying large datasets or writing SQL statements
SAS experience with strong Excel skills
Ability to learn the business and communicate with non-technical peers
A collaborative approach to building internal & external relationships
