We are looking for a Marketing Executive to join our team based in Nottingham, for 12 months covering maternity. As a Marketing Executive you will support the Marketing team in their activities to ensure we effectively communicate to our customers, prospects, staff, about who we are and how we "empower the world of education". As a Marketing Executive you will work with your team to drive market insight, market engagement, lead generation and, ultimately, drive a growing business.
What does the role involve?
Reporting to the Head of Marketing Communications you will be responsible for providing marketing support such as planning, coordination, and execution of the marketing and communications activity for the EMEA region of the business. You will be a marketing all-rounder and be skilled to support the digital marketing strategy, be prepared to support with marketing design and offer highly skilled event support.
No two days will be the same and your flexible nature will mean you’re able to prioritise effectively and work on multiple projects at the same time. Whether you are assisting the Design Lead with the production of external facing marketing materials, organising an event, or working with the rest of the team to support business growth by expediting, monitoring and evaluating targeted marketing campaigns, you will quickly become a valued member of the team.
Alongside responsibility for updating and managing the Group’s internal communications content, you will be responsible for maintaining the team’s external inbox, ensuring that customer enquiries are handled and passed on to the correct people in a timely manner.
What skills and experience can I bring to the role?
Along with a degree level qualification or a strong track record in a comparable marketing support role, you will have experience of web marketing including PPC, SEO and social media as well as experience of using Adobe InDesign and Photoshop. Experience of using marketing automation tools such as Hubspot etc. would be advantageous.
You will be a natural and confident communicator (both verbal and written) with excellent customer service skills and the ability and passion to drive continuous improvement. To complement your strong planning, project management and prioritisation capabilities, you will be used to delivering high quality output to deadlines and within budget in a busy, fast-paced marketing environment.
With a strong understanding of the importance of key messaging and brand consistency, you will demonstrate acute attention to detail and a pro-active and professional approach.
Any experience of the education, learning and technology markets is useful but by no means essential.
