Our client, based in Marlow, is looking to recruit an experienced Legal Secretary. This very demanding and responsible role will involve a variety of challenging and interesting tasks, as well as ensuring the office is run smoothly. You must be able to communicate with colleagues at all levels.

Key Duties:

  • Copy and audio typing
  • Handling of confidential documents, memos etc.
  • Completion of legal forms
  • Liaising and dealing with clients/other solicitors when required
  • Amending transactional documentation, to include track changes
  • Dealing with post completion matters, i.e. submitting SDLT Return and dealing with Land Registry application
  • Assisting the free earner/firm generally
  • Invoicing, scanning and diary management
  • Filing/scanning/photocopying
  • Arranging meetings
  • Entering of time sheets and data entry
  • All other administration as required
  • Any other duties as required

Special Requirements:

  • Excellent organisational skills & time management
  • Excellent ability and experience with MS office suite
  • Well-mannered, smart and professional in appearance
  • High level of accuracy and attention to detail
  • Confident with clients and other employees/solicitors
  • Reliable and proactive in approach, with a willingness to help
