Opportunities have arisen for Night Healthcare Assistants to join a CQC rated ‘Outstanding’ independent hospital that specialises in providing the highest quality of service to people with longstanding mental health problems. Based in Borehamwood, Hertfordshire, successful Night Healthcare Assistants will earn a salary of £18,749 per annum.

The hospital service has 31 in-patient beds designated for restricted access or locked rehabilitation. It provides care and treatment for the full spectrum of mental health illnesses with all patients being funded by the NHS. As a Night Healthcare Assistant, your main duties and responsibilities will include, but will not be limited to:

- Delivering a caring an effective client focused service, in keeping with the aims, objectives and standards of the hospital
- Delivering sensitive and appropriate clinical care to meet individual’s needs, whilst respecting personal dignity and beliefs
- Working closely with the nursing team
- Ensuring with other colleagues the communal areas are always staffed
- Interacting in a positive and natural manner with all clients
- Identifying signs that may indicate that clients are at risk either to others or to themselves and reporting these concerns
- Reporting any concerning behaviors or conversation topics with clients immediately

Additional Information

More information on shift patterns: Work over a 2-week rolling pattern of 20:00-08:30, 3 nights one week, 4 nights the next. This pattern includes working alternate weekends.
