Eden Scott's client who is a respected global brand has a fantastic opportunity for an Infrastructure Analyst. You will support, maintain, upgrade and install IT systems and applications used within the company to both maintain and enhance efficiencies and performance of the company's operating systems. About the role: You will proactively advise, assist and engage on the delivery of underlying technical infrastructure to support the delivery of technical projects ·Ensure that all second and third line infrastructure engineering support requests are appropriately prioritized and resolved with within the required service level agreements ·Document the design, operation and troubleshooting of technology platforms and procedures · Assist with planning and implementing systems and network integrations in line with systems upgrades and/or any merger and acquisition activity · Plan and execute system testing necessary for new and upgraded Infrastructure installations prior to release in the live environment to ensure continuity of service. · Assist with the implementation of policy and strategy for information technology systems to ensure that staff and computer systems comply with legislative and organisational requirements · Provide project support, SME input and operational support across all Datacentre systems · Configure, monitor and maintain systems within predefined targets set with the business · Work collaboratively with 3rd party support services on diagnosing and troubleshooting issues related to the operating environments · Maintain an awareness of industry technological developments and identify opportunities to implement new or improved enterprise solutions to provide a more efficient and effective service to the business About you: Skills and Qualifications: Essential: Experience of global operations delivery, support and data centre technologies including VM Ware and Microsoft Server technologies (e.g. Microsoft Active Directory, Microsoft Exchange/Office 365,) CISCO and Checkpoint A specialist area of technical capability i.e. - Citrix, VMWare, RDS, SCCM, Storage, Compute, Networking Certification in a technical specialism. Experience of working with both a BAU and Project environment. Working knowledge of ITIL Desirable: Demonstrable experience in a number of technologies including virtualisation, storage, network and backup Experience administering Windows and Linux servers in private and public cloud deployments Working knowledge of cloud services such as AWS, Azure, Office 365 or similar The package will include an annual bonus, DC Pension, Private Healthcare and other benefits.
