Job Description - Electrical Maintenance Engineer (Time Served) Roevin Engineering are working in partnership with a specialist engineering services provider. Due to recent contract wins and continued expansion they are seeking a couple of Field Based Electrical Maintenance Engineers. This company operate throughout the UK working within industrial, commercial and education sectors. The role would suit an individual who has completed a full Electrical Engineering apprenticeship and has a minimum of 2 years' time served experience. Main Responsibilities Include: PPM Maintenance Checks - Carrying out maintenance on various pieces of equipment ranging from basic workshop machinery to complex extraction systems. Checking that equipment complies with current regulations. Fault Investigation & Repair - Attending client sites when required to investigate faults with field based equipment, repairing where possible and reporting all findings. Installations & Modification Upgrades - Carry out installation of and upgrades to machinery and LEV equipment when required. Electrical Commissioning - Commission machinery & LEV systems both electrically & mechanically following installations. Types of equipment you will be expected to work with: All types of Woodworking and Metal Working machinery. Various LEV systems incorporating fans, filter units and associated equipment control systems. Variable Speed Drives, Soft Starts, Star/Delta & DOL Units, Pressure Transducers, Pressure Switches, Emergency Control Relays, PLC Units, Solenoids, Single & Three phase motors, Bearings, Fans and Impellers. The successful applicant must have: HNC or above in Electrical Engineering. Full UK Driving Licence. Completed recognised apprenticeship. Skills that would be advantageous although not essential: 17th Edition IET Wiring Regulations (BS 7671) 2009 17th Edition Inspection & Testing (BS 7671) 2009 ECS Certification CSCS Certification Steel Conduit Bending, Cable Tray, Trunking Installation Job specific training will be provided. Location - Home-based, travelling to client sites mainly within the Central Belt of Scotland. For certain contracts the role will require mid-week working away within the UK. This is fully funded and hotels are pre-booked. This is usually restricted to 5 days Mon-Friday and is planned in advance where possible.
