ACE Winches has an opportunity for an experienced Finance Coordinator to join the team at our Global headquarters in Turriff, Aberdeenshire on a full time basis. This role will work within the Finance Department whilst ensuring ongoing communication lines with other areas of the business (in particular Project Engineers) are maintained to allow for the efficient exchange of information. The position will also involve: Analysing P&L accounts and make internal allocations as necessary Undertaking divisional analysis for Turnover and Gross Profit and ensure the sum of individual projects reconciles to overall group results Communicating with overseas / subsidiaries to obtain results for inclusion in group reporting Offerering support to overseas / subsidiaries including analysis and review of results compared to forecasts Supporting Project Engineers to ensure individual project results agree to their expectations Preparing sales invoices based on communication from Project Engineers and ensure all relevant items are clearly explained for client Allocating personnel time across divisions to ensure accurate costings Ensuring costs have been correctly captured within relevant projects and divisions by review Reconciling balance sheet accounts on a monthly/quarterly basis with back-up schedules Undertaking periodic stock-takes and reconcile accordingly Preparing and process journals to ensure all nominal accounts are kept up to date and relevant Supporting initiatives to improve accuracy of capture and reporting of information Candidates should have: An accountancy degree or HND with minimum 2 years relevant experience Previous experience working in a similar environment (Finance department and SME) The ability to operate on own initiative as well as part of a small team The ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines on a consistent basis Excellent organizational and time management skills including prioritization of tasks Professional and effective verbal and written communication Experience of Microsoft Packages (in particular Excel), Sage and C-Sam packages
