Finance Assistant - Real Estate Start-up

A fast-paced, dynamic prop-dev start-up is looking for an ambitious, hands-on Finance Assistant to help with all aspects of the companies finance function. This role will give the right candidate amazing exposure to new areas of development and the opportunity to be an integral part of a rapidly growing business.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Ensure effective client invoicing.
  • Use judgment and initiative to resolve invoicing and cash-collection issues.
  • Sales ledger and purchase ledger reconciliations.
  • Managing accounts payable and accounts receivable functions.
  • Bank recs, expense postings, VAT returns and helping prep company accounts.
  • Business partner with stakeholders across all areas of the business and well as external investors and 3rd parties.
  • Help develop and innovate order-to-cash value streams, client engagement, cash management and financial processes.

Key Requirements:

  • Degree in Accounting, Finance or Business
  • 1-3 years accounting and finance experience
  • Experience with Xero and advanced Excel
  • Ability to work to multiple deadlines, prioritise tasks and work under pressure
  • Organised with excellent attention to detail
  • High level of initiative with an ability to self-teach, problem solve and adapt
  • An entrepreneurial personality with a passion to add value

Benefits:
