I am currently recruiting for an interim Project and Installation Manager for my client based in Sheffield.

The purpose of the role is to have overall responsibility for the planning and smooth day to day running of all internal work relating to the pre-delivery of machinery and stock.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Planning and Liaising with the internal sales team
  • Liaising with the Head of Engineering and Service regarding the allocation off resource and resource planning
  • Ensure all Health & Safety documentation is prepared
  • Supervising and Overseeing all internal works relating to the pre-delivery inspection of machinery, rebuilds and preparation for shipping
  • Escalating and resolving any issues which may arise
  • Supervising internal works to ensure work is completed efficiently and in a timely manner
  • First point of contact for the installation team on sites
  • Ensure that all Pre-delivery Inspections are completed prior to machinery being dispatched and that machine specification is complete to the Works Order
  • Be the point of contact for service engineers during installations
  • Liaising with customers during installations
  • Responsibility for the general housekeeping of workshop and showroom areas

Skills and Experience

  • Must have a machine tool and engineering background
  • Have working knowledge of CNC Machinery
  • Experience of Managing a team
