My client, a well-known dynamic business located just outside of Ipswich is looking for an experienced Finance Assistant to join their team.

This role is perfect for an account’s professional who’s interested in a varied accounts role and wants to develop their career.

You must have good knowledge of Sales Ledger and Purchase Ledger with strong experience of using Sage 50. You will also be competent in the use of Microsoft Excel.

Duties will include:
• Posting purchase invoices and credit notes to Sage.
• Raising purchase orders on Sage.
• Reconciling supplier statements.
• Drafting supplier payment runs.
• Authorising purchase ledger invoices.
• Processing daily, weekly and monthly sales invoices.
• Posting cheques received from customers onto Sage.
• Credit control.
• Liaising with customers and suppliers with regard to invoice queries.
