Purchase Ledger Clerk

Based: Bolton

Salary: circa £20k + excellent benefits

Our client is a fantastic, forward-thinking, innovative business who are widely recognised throughout the UK as leaders in their field. Due to ongoing growth of the business an opportunity for a Purchase Ledger Clerk has arisen in their ever growing and busy AP team.

Role:

  • Managing high volume UK and international payment runs for AP team
  • Processing high volume invoices daily
  • Allocating refunds to customers
  • Managing direct debits, debit notes and daily bank reconciliations
  • Reporting on daily cash figures and analysing for AP Manager
  • Involved with continuous team process and procedure improvements
  • Building relationships with suppliers and dealing with queries

Experience:

  • Experience working in a fast-paced environment in a busy team
  • High degree of concentration and accuracy
  • Good communication skills both internal and external
  • Previous experience in Purchase Ledger is absolutely essential.
