Teaching Personnel has a long standing relationship with the SENCO in a CofE secondary school in Bath. She is currently looking for Behaviour Mentors on a full-time and part-time basis.

Most of these roles will be in a 1:1 capacity. You will be assigned to one pupil to improve his or her behaviour. This can sometimes feel quite intense but it is extremely rewarding when you make progress.

You must be resilient, patient and above all, committed as these pupils can be very vulnerable! The behaviour mentor role very much suits suits a confident person.

The school has been rated GOOD by OFSTED and has a real family, community feel to it. You will be fully supported by the SENCO who is amazing so perfect for a graduate too!

You must have/ be ONE of the following

  • UK school experience
  • Behaviour/ SEN experience whether it is in or out of school, child or adult
  • A graduate with a relevant subject for Special Educational Needs, Education, Psychology/ Social or a core teaching subject
