Location | L11 2SF

Role Overview

This is a fantastic opportunity for a Marketing and Communications Assistant to join a newly established, small and friendly in-house team that is responsible for delivering high quality internal and external communications for the whole business.

It’s a great time to join Cobalt! A 'de-merger’ from our parent company back in 2017 has enabled us to truly take a local focus in everything we do, and we’re already making big positive changes in the way we’re communicating.

We’re looking for an enthusiastic, creative wordsmith with a LOT of initiative and ideas, and someone who’s happy to get stuck in to everything. You will feel confident enough to make ridiculous suggestions in campaign meetings and laugh a lot at yourself. Our team supports every department in the organisation, so you’ll need to be happy to chat to people at all levels in order to get the best outcome (and find out news stories to share!).

We’re not necessarily looking for a housing background either - Ideally we’d love you to have a solid degree, and some experience in engagement marketing, writing professionally for a range of media, and running professional social media accounts, but most importantly is showing us that you can write and communicate REALLY well, and that you are a do-er!

Additional Information

The successful candidate will enjoy 23 days holiday, flexi time, plus 3 additional days for Christmas shut down, as well as the option to join the company pension Scheme.

The salary for the Marketing and Communications Assistant role is £18,000 - £19,000 (rising by 5% upon successful completion of probation). Cobalt's standard working week is 9am - 5pm Monday to Friday. For More details on Cobalt's benefits, please see our website:
