Service Delivery Manager

GERMAN LANGUAGE (SPEAKING) REQUIRED.

Our client, a true market leader who have won various employment awards over the years, is looking for an experienced Service Delivery Manager to join their team based near Stoke-on-Trent, on a permanent basis. The Service Delivery Manager will provide overall responsibility for the IT Service Management (ITSM). As part of the IT Governance, you will lead a team of ITSM specialists and define and maintain the IT service catalogue and service management processes.

Service Delivery Manager – Responsibilities:

  • Manage, lead, motivate and develop the ITSM team members
  • Build and maintain internal client relationships to all contact persons on different levels
  • Analyse, document and catalogue the existing IT services and ITSM processes
  • Define and maintain the IT service catalogue (Service Design and Service Transition) based on ITIL
  • Define the group-wide IT standard ITSM processes
  • Design effective SLA driven KPI’s for the ITSM processes
  • Central responsibility for IT service management
  • Coach internal employees in implementing ITSM standards and processes
  • Establish and execute a continuous improvement process to develop the standards and processes
  • Contribute ideas and concepts to the IT strategy for the respective area of responsibility in relation to the company strategy
  • Enforce compliance with processes and standards in the IT organization and supplier
  • Responsible for License- und Software-Asset-Management
  • Owner of the IT change management process (Change Advisory Board Chairperson)
  • Represent the ITSM in programs and projects and review implemented IT projects (Project Portfolio)
