We now have a fantastic opportunity for a Engineer to join our Northern division in Aberdeen.
The Engineer will report to the Engineering Manager and will be responsible for all the design stages of each project. From proposal to completion, you will own the entire scope of work, manage all client relationships including liaising with external agencies and take responsibility for the overall success of multiple projects. Supporting the Technical Manager overseeing all engineering activities within the business the Project Engineer will ideally be able to carry out civil design work in house as well as prove effective at managing external design consultants where appropriate. Key functions include liaising and negotiating with utilities providers, local authorities, Scottish Water and participating in public consultations. A key remit will be ensuring quality, attending site meetings and driving projects forward.
To fulfil the needs of this role, we are ideally looking for someone qualified to degree level in Civil Engineering, although candidates with an HNC or HND in Civil Engineering will also be considered. Demonstrable experience of the house building industry is preferred, specifically high volume plot works but we will consider applicants from engineering consultancies and from a commercial construction background looking to utilise their skill and knowledge in the residential sector.. Delegates should have proven experience of design using AutoCAD, PDS and Microsoft Office and hold a full UK driving license.
