The position available is in a large secondary SEN school in the Amersham area which caters for a variety of needs including PMLD, SLD, and Autism.
Our school is a calm and productive learning environment where the staff team seeks to maximise the potential of every student and to take advantage of every learning opportunity. As a school, their therapists and teachers work together to ensure that students have the best possible experience at the school. Strategies and interventions are researched based and targeted to support the needs of the students. They believe that every child can succeed and we have tailored their curriculum to develop students literacy, employability and independence living skills.
The successful candidate will need to have previous experience teaching the Maths curriculum up to GCSE level and adapting their lessons to accommodate students of varying abilities.
