Compilation and preparation of Technical designs associated with the company’s products. Injection Mouldings and sheet metal experience would be ideal. May consider an Engineering graduate with 18 months + post garaduation product Design experience gained whilst working in industry
Compile and the issuance of Engineering Change Notices (ECN’s) in line with the company’s published QMS procedures.
Coordinate the collection of data associated with Engineering Change Notices (ECN’s) in line with the company’s published QMS procedures
Engineering bills of materials compilation& Product structure bill of materials-(Fourth Shift) maintenance in line with the company’s MRP system requirements.
Representing the Engineering department in specific NPI activities as assigned by the Technical
Manager of which will include attendance of meetings, recording and reporting Engineering Actions and their time lines in support of Product Design Engineering projects.
Key responsibilities will include the professional liaison with customers and suppliers in support of Technical issues related to the company’s current products and the evolvement of new product designs and its development.
Qualifications & requirements:
May consider a recent Engineering graduate with 12 months + experience
Graduate or time served mechanical engineer with minimum HND qualification.
3D CAD modelling; Pro Engineer Creo 2. using the Advanced Assembly and Surfacing modules.
Experience in the procedures that support the design and development requirements of
ISO (Apply online only).
Experience in the administration and management of Engineering Enterprise Change systems would be a distinct advantage.
Automotive experience would be a benefit

- Dynamic & self – motivated individual.
- Demonstrates initiative, with a strong sense of ownership & confidentiality.
- - Excellent time management skills to ensure tasks are completed in line with designated time lines and project commitments.
- A strong understanding and experience of process technologies within the sheet, light metal fabrication, rubber application and plastics processes using DFM techniques.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to think on your feet
Automotive experience would be ideal
Travel to work from Cwmbran, Merthyr, Pontypool, Cwmbran, Ebbw Vale, Brecon, Abergavenny
