ABC Teachers part of the Times Education Supplement (TES) are recruiting for a Teacher of English for a popular secondary school based in Stone, Staffordshire.

The school are looking for a motivated and qualified English Teacher to join their supportive English Department from April 2019 after the Easter break. The role will last until December 2019 with it being reviewed to go on for a further term for the right candidate.

The successful candidate will be working in a high achieving environment so will be committed to delivering the highest standard of teaching. They will be well organised and have an up to date and strong knowledge of their subject. They will also have the ability to build a strong rapport with both the department and school as a whole.

To be considered for this teaching post you must:

-Hold QTS (or equivalent)

-Be able to effectively manage a classroom using a variety of techniques

-Have up to date knowledge of the national curriculum for English across KS3 and KS4. (KS5 would be beneficial, but not a necessity).

The school can support an NQT but also welcome applications from more experienced teachers.

ABC Teachers are an REC Gold Standard Awarded Education Agency, part of TES. Candidates pay rates are competitive and in line with the AWR policy which means that after a qualifying period, supply teachers can be paid to the comparable scale offered by the school.
