We here at Jenrick IT are currently collaborating with an award winning communications company who are looking to expand their staff within their London office and hire an experienced Technical Operations Manager. The environment is dynamic and financially rewarding. This opportunity has gained a lot of interest already with some interviews already taken place.
Do you have 5+ years Network Management experience?

Main Purpose of the Role

This is a leadership position within our London engineering division. The successful candidate will be responsible for planning, coordinating and executing organisational technical processes from start to finish.

Key Responsibilities

- Create and maintain the best practice standards for technical operations
- Work closely with engineers, project managers, and clients
- Responsible for delivering advice and direction to technical staff
- Coordinate and participate in projects to design, documentation, develop, program, test, install and maintain technical operations
- Identify and drive continuous technology improvements
- Incident management
- Flexible approach to working outside of business hours to meet deadlines

Essential

- Minimum 5 years’ technical leadership experience
- Demonstrable ability to raise the bar on performance and achieve improvement through others
- Experience in Information technology (IT) Project management, or related technical field
- Experience of working effectively with non-technical stakeholders including senior managers and directors.
- Experience in managing Capex
- A full UK driving licence

Desirable

- Hosted solution experience
- Juniper experience
- Cloud experience
- Security hardware experience (Firewall, IDS etc.)
- WAN, LAN and security knowledge
- MPLS knowledge
