Secondary ICT & Computing Teacher required – Bury

£100 - £165 per day

This exciting Secondary ICT & Computing Teacher position available for a long term position starting after February half term is the perfect opportunity to join a desirable school in the Bury area.

Are you up to date with the latest technology? As an engaging ICT & Computing teacher are you able to teach the skills required to be able to succeed in the modern world?

This ICT & Computing Teacher position will teach a variable timetable of both Key Stage 3 and Key Stage 4 class groups. You will be required to plan lessons that engage and challenge students of all abilities.

This Ofsted 'Good' school caters for nearly 1000 students and through the delivery of top class teaching & learning and impeccable student behaviour they aim to deliver excellent exam results. In addition to students achieving academically the school also provides a wide range of extra curricular experiences to ensure learners are given the opportunity to develop into well rounded young people.

Teachers of all experience levels will be considered for the role, including NQTs

To be considered for the role you should have:

Recognised teaching qualification PGCE or equivalent (QTS).

The ability to quickly build positive relationships with both staff and students.

Strong subject knowledge of the Maths curriculum including the new GCSE

Current DBS registered with the DBS Update Service – if you do not have a DBS registered online PK Education will provide full assistance in getting you one.
