RDR are currently looking to recruit a Control & Instrument Engineer on behalf of Engie Fabricom to be based either at their Grimsby or Stokesley office.

This role is preferably a permanent position but the client will consider contract also.

The Control & Instrument Engineer has responsibility and accountability for successful execution of E&I Engineering and design activities on all allocated projects, contracts and work-packages, or as delegated by their Project/Line Manager.

The Control & Instrument Engineer must manage work packages, engineering and design staff, or engineering / design subcontracts in a safe and productive manner, produce deliverables or engineering packages on time, in line with all contract specifications, achieve full client satisfaction, meet all quality and commercial KPI's whilst maintaining good relationships with all stakeholders and colleagues.

Technical Requirements;

* Ability to perform the role as an engineering consultant and, as required, personally deliver the engineering requirement for all C&I stages of a FEED Study or similar.

* Keep up with latest industry standards, technology and norms within the Oil & Gas, Petrochem and Energy industrial sectors

* Be familiar with the whole lifecycle of process safety services from HazID at concept stage through all Hazard Study stages during project development, including SIL/HAC Assessment activities.

Knowledge, Experience & Qualifications;

* Must have relevant (Degree level), professional/vocational qualification (E)

* Chartered Engineer and member of appropriate professional engineering institution (D)

* Extensive experience in the process control industry

* Must be conversant with all current process safety and HSE legislation appropriate to the process engineering and energy industries, and a comprehensive understanding of quality systems to ISO 9001 standards (E)
