Our client has been established for over 40 years and have become an industry leader making high end products sold worldwide. They are in a period of expansion and are keen to recruit a Project Manager within their New Product Development team. Duties:

Lead and be responsible for the management of multiple projects.

Establish and meet scope, cost, quality and timing objectives/commitments

Accountable for directing a portfolio of complex and wide-ranging product development projects and executing through the New Product Introduction (NPI) process.

Responsible for ensuring projects are delivered on time, respecting product cost and project investment targets.

Lead cross functional teams and be accountable for the execution of all project tasks to meet portfolio and project needs through aggressive timing, performance, cost and quality objectives.

Work with R&D Director, Operations, Product Marketing, and external suppliers to ensure the critical engineering, compliance, manufacturing and assembly processes and overall financial targets support project goals.

Participate in global coordination of technical project deliverables and design reviews.

Communicate and drive project priorities within the business and project team by resource assignment to meet NPI timing requirements.

Ensure compliance with the company procedures and make suggestions for improvement.

Support, advise, coach and direct team members in the achievement of agreed objectives and core requirements in the new product development projects.

Coordinate with international teams to set global development priorities

Experience:

An Engineering degree is preferred with extensive experience in project management, design and product development.

Experience in successfully leading multiple cross-functional teams.

A broad knowledge of manufacturing techniques and processes is required.

Strong knowledge of industry best practices for Project Management.

Proven leadership skills with well-developed business acumen.

Team oriented with excellent communication skills both verbal and written.
