Join Assurant, one of the leading providers in lifestyle & automotive protection in Europe, as a HR Assistant.

We’re looking for an experienced HR Assistant to join our team. You’ll be working within our HR Partnering team and will be responsible for providing first line support, coaching and guidance to our line managers relating to employee relations activity.

As part of the role, you’ll be accountable for general HR administration ensuring it complies with legislation, policy, regulation and client requirements. The role will support the virtual team in the delivery of the HR European plan.

The role is responsible for the following but is not limited to;

* To provide helpdesk responses managing calls and email queries

* To complete administrative requirements to support cyclical HR process and any business change driven by the HRBP’s

* Maintain the HR System knowledge base

* To provide case management support of Employee Relations activity in line with HR governance requirements

* Maintain all HR & employee records to ensure all files and systems are accurate and up to date

* Identify departmental continuous improvement and process improvement initiatives and help to embed these within the immediate team

* Manage in-life compliance processes

The ideal person to join us will have the following skills, knowledge and expertise:

* Experience of working in a HR function

* Experience of working in fast paced environment

* Sound knowledge of HR policies and procedures

* Experience of coaching and guiding various levels of management

* Proficient knowledge of Microsoft packages including Excel; Word; Outlook; and PowerPoint

* Excellent oral and written communication skills

* Knowledge of working VISAs and CIFAS is preferable
