Finance Team Leader to take responsibility of the daily operating of the Finance function within the business. The candidate will report into and work closely with the Head of Finance and will also be responsible for managing two junior members of the team.

Description

  • Oversight and control of Finance processes - daily bank reconciliations, client money reconciliations, liquidity reports, client deposits and withdrawals, accounts payable functions and rebate calculations
  • Implementation of new Finance processes
  • Producing monthly management accounts
  • Assist with monthly and quarterly FCA returns
  • Preparation of quarterly board reports
  • Daily, monthly and quarterly analysis of financial information
  • Preparation and monitoring of budgets
  • Preparation of audit files for statutory audits
  • Oversee two junior members

Profile

  • Minimum of 3 years experience working in Finance/Accounts within Financial Services
  • Have begun to undertake CIMA/ACCA/ACA exams
  • Degree Qualification - Business/Finance related
  • A Levels - including Mathematics
  • A strong understanding of Microsoft Excel
  • Experience in using accounting software, preferably Xero
