Overview of Role

Responsible for improving the customer experience online, across all devices, to optimise traffic through the waterfall, reducing drop-out, increasing accept rates and driving sales. Identifying and delivering new online initiatives to drive growth working closely with the internal IT, development, underwriting and customer service teams as well as and 3rd party partners.


* The owner and ambassador for the best customer journey across all company websites. Influencing the sales team to ensure customer journeys are executed in line with CRO recommendations and meet expectations.

* Thorough understanding of end to end customer journey on site with continuous testing on site to ensure the experience is meeting the needs to our customers, using review feedback, onsite analytics and customer service input to drive change.

* Manage the day-to-day relationship with 3rd Party partners and internal stakeholders in delivering key commercial improvements in front end customer and user experience (UX) and the development of new business accretive initiatives.

* Continually optimise application process across all devices and channels, driving a reduction in site abandonment rate and increasing accept rates through ongoing analysis and A/B testing.

* Using Google analytics, Web platform and 3rd party reporting, identify and propose key sales and conversion driving initiatives through analysis of web data. Following sign off ensure all projects are included in the Change Committee roadmap, working alongside Internal IT Dept and third party suppliers to deliver change.

* Build, manage and move forward a structured conversion testing plan and roadmap using the core conversion waterfall as the basis for priorities. Updating key stakeholders on progress and monitoring budgets with the support of the Senior Digital Marketing Manager.

* Identify A/B or Multivariate tests on poor performing pages, initiate required work with 3rd Party agency or internal dev and analyse results once statistical significance achieved, making the relevant recommendations/changes.

* Work closely with the lending teams to ensure BAU journeys are optimised to improve acquisition conversion rate, to ensure the website is optimised for search and to ensure on site tracking is implemented effectively.

* Work closely with the Senior Digital Marketing Manager to ensure all website issues are logged and resolved in a reasonable time frame.

* Work closely with the customer services team to get feedback on website issues so improvements can be made going forward.

Skills Required/Preferred


* Strong analytical and data management skills / Strong commercial acumen

* Excellent Excel capability

* Online Trading Experience / Expert user of Google Analytics

* Excellent communication skills and ability to use data to influence

* Desire for continuous improvement
