Our client is looking for someone with experience and understanding of working on construction projects.

You will be suitably qualified and have a good technical understanding. Ideally you will have worked on Educational, Healthcare and Ministry of Justice Projects although this is not essential.

Client facing, you will have experience of business analysis and will be adept at writing functional reports of various nature.

Core responsibilities
•Day-to-day running of projects to the value of £6M for the client through the entire project within budget and set timescales
•Business analysis reporting
•Ongoing support of solutions
•Management of project team
•Management and compliance of Sub Contractors and Material
•Informing the Operations Director of future resource requirements
•Overseeing all aspects of site H&S

Core competencies
•Ability to manage project delivery phase, liaising with clients and users, facilitating workshops and documenting user requirements
•Ability to scope, plan and budget projects, incorporating crucial details such as risk management and return on investment
•Ability to give sufficient input into the technical analysis of the project
•Ability to work with Client and clients team, keeping them informed of any problems
•Ability to supervise all those in the team, applying hands-on management when necessary
•Ability to foster a successful team-working environment whilst also helping to motivate individuals
•Ability to ensure that all projects are executed within budget, to time and to high standards

Candidate requirements
•Proven background and experience of project management in the electrical industry
•Good communicator, able to work and adapt in a fast-moving industry
•Excellent customer / interpersonal skills
•Previous experience of Educational ,Healthcare and MOJ projects


* Electrical apprenticeship

* NVQ Level 3 in Electrical installations or equivalent

* 5 years experience as a Electrical project manager

21days holiday plus public holidays - increasing to 25 following 3 years service

45 Hours per week

Bupa / Death in service
