Year 1 Teacher Bury
Year 1 teacher needed for a maternity cover starting 15th April 2019
Teaching Personnel are currently working with a larger than average primary school which is part of a multi-academy trust. The Head teacher of this welcoming and inclusive Bury primary school (M25) is looking for a Year 1 teacher to start after the Easter half term on a full time basis and will go on until the end of the academic year with a possibility of carrying on into September due to the school expanding into a 2 form primary school.
The Head teacher is looking for a confident and energetic newly or fully qualified teacher to join the school community. The school is known within the local community for delivering a vibrant and diverse curriculum to engage all students.
The school has a large percentage of pupils with special educational needs and health care plans so experience differentiating lesson plans for children with additional needs is essential. The school has a reputation for being inclusive and pupils make good progress in reading, writing and maths throughout both Key Stages.
The school is looking for a year 1 Teacher with/who is:
- Understanding and knowledge of the curriculum and experience working in a Key Stage 1 environment
- Enthusiastic and is committed to high standards, has high expectations of behaviour
- Enthusiastic about providing exciting learning experiences for the children in a cross curricular context
