JDS Recruitment is seeking an experienced and confident colleague to take up the post of Behaviour Learning Mentor, working as part of the team in supporting learners around the school and within the classroom.

You would be joining a skilled team of teaching and support staff in providing high quality learning for the students. This is an opportunity for an experienced and skilled practitioner to make a real difference to children’s lives. A proven background in managing challenging behaviour alongside evidence of being able to engage complex, vulnerable young people is an essential element of this post. Confidence in managing complex behaviours and willingness to pro-actively resolve situations are key skills which the successful candidates must demonstrate as leaders of behaviour management within the school.

Working on behalf of an outstanding special school offering high quality education and care for primary aged pupils with social emotional and mental health needs

The school is part of three hub of schools in Bexley, working in close partnership with a SEMH secondary school and a third Academy which provides the alternative provision alongside an outreach service to the borough All three schools are part of a multi-academy trust, London South East Academies Trust (LSEAT).

Our schools provide education for pupils from Year 1 to Year 11 as well as working closely with our stakeholders in creating solutions for pupils at risk of permanent exclusion
