Regional Office Manager - £38000 - £40000 per annum - Amersham

RESPONSIBILITIES
* To be a member of the Regional Office management team, to ensure a seamless operational service to the business.
* To manage the day to day property matters within their region - including internal office moves and space requirements, provision and maintenance of hard and soft services, ensuring compliance with lease requirements regarding maintenance and upkeep, liaison with landlords, co-tenants and sub-tenants including attending local property meetings, as appropriate.
* To recruit, retain, motivate and develop the regional secretarial/facilities resource
* To ensure the delivery of the induction process at local office level
* To manage and promote health, safety and security standards within the region
* To ensure the localised secretarial support and central operations’ business management system standards are communicated to the team, and subsequently regularly reviewed, adhered to, maintained, and met, to ensure the latest ISO accreditation is retained.
* To act as key player within the Business Continuity Plan; holding secondary responsibility in Operations on the Emergency Management Team
* To support in the delivery of a firm-wide contract and procurement system for all local and national office and facilities
* To manage operational, spend within the region
* To support in the implementation of strategies and policies
* To support in the preparation of the central operational annual business plans and budget forecasts relating to office and secretarial support budgets
* To support in the preparation of quarterly reports to Management Board and Partners on office and secretarial support activity/corporate social investment/Health Safety & Security.
* To support in ensuring the smooth running of the central services provision
* To support to implement policy and process across the region, including the management of the agreed local budget.
* To deputise during periods of absence.
* To assist with ad hoc projects.
THE PERSON
* Ability to influence people
* Confident in ability to make management decisions
* Confidence in use of all forms communication (written and oral)
* Confidence in the use of information technology
* Professional background - desirable
* Excellent people management skills
