Mpeople Accountancy & Finance is currently recruiting for an enthusiastic Accounts Assistant to join one of the UK's leading suppliers in the Blackburn area.

Permanent

Full-time

Monday-Thursday 9am-5pm / Friday 9am-4pm - 45 minutes for lunch

23 days holidays + statutory and bank holidays

Free on site parking

NEST pension scheme

Responsibilities include:

  • Maintenance of Sage 50 accounts for 3 small companies
  • Assisting with preparation of financial reports
  • Sales & Purchase Ledger (UK & Euro invoices)
  • Monthly cheque & BACS payment run (Sterling & Euro)
  • VAT/EC Returns
  • Statement & Bank reconciliation
  • Producing invoices
  • Assisting with month end procedure
  • Consignment of Stock control for key accounts
  • Credit Control
  • Ad hoc cover of general office administration

Experience & Skill Requirements:

  • Experience with Sage or a similar software would be beneficial
  • 1 year experience minimum within and accounts based role
  • Intermediate Excel skills are essential
  • Must have a vibrant & confident personality to fit with the likewise atmosphere!
