A 'Good’ co-educational school based in the Royal London Borough of Richmond are recruiting for a Maths Teacher to join their well-resourced and high achieving Maths Department. The school has approximately 760 students on roll at the moment and intend to take in an extra class of 30 students each year until 2019. The school also saw a launch of their sixth form in September 2014 with a brand new, state of the art, and purpose built sixth form block. This a full-time fixed-term role to start in September April 2019, the contract will be for 12 months.

A successful candidate will be a newly qualified or experienced Maths Teacher who is self-motivated and inspirational to their students in order to help them achieve and thrive in academic success. You will be working in a department with full of experienced dynamic teachers, along with a phenomenal Senior Leadership Team who have devised a fantastic CPD programme to help you develop good-outstanding teaching and learning skills. You will be the 8th member of the department joining as an Maths Teacher this will give you a great opportunity to drive your career forwards. The department achieved 98% A*-C at GCSE Level last year with 33% A*-A with 50% of students achieving A*-A in Statistics.

All applicants must have:

  • UK QTS or QTLS specialising in Maths.
  • Outstanding references
  • Ability to teach Maths up to A-Level.

You will be paid to scale MPS/UPS (Outer London).
