We are keen to appoint an inspiring and motivated Food Technology Leader, who is enthusiastic about their subject and committed to ensuring that all of our students enjoy their Food Technology lessons and gain the skills they need for both examination success and their future lives.

Cardinal Newman School has an exciting opportunity for a new Curriculum Leader of Food who shares this passion. We are very well resourced with two new, fully equipped Food Technology rooms and a Food Technology support assistant.

Cardinal Newman School is an 11-19 comprehensive school with Specialist Science Status, serving the Roman Catholic community in Luton and Dunstable. We are one of the most successful schools in Luton and have a thriving 6th form with 300 students. We have been consistently described by Ofsted as a 'good' school and under Section 48 as an 'outstanding Catholic school'.

We are looking for an inspiring Curriculum Leader to build upon the high standards already achieved and continue the growth and development of the department. Whether you are currently in a leadership role or looking to take the next step-up in your career, this post is an excellent opportunity for you to really make a difference on your journey to senior leadership.

The ideal candidate will be an outstanding classroom practitioner, able to display leadership skills that encourage staff to be creative and develop rich and exciting lessons. The person appointed will be an ambitious leader with a clear vision of what an outstanding Food department should look like and will have the talent to deliver on this vision.
