The Technical Sales Consultant will join a highly regarded software company established in 1997, with a loyal customer base. The Technical Sales Consultant will be offering customers a portfolio of services and products that help modernise business, integrating Sales and Marketing and Telephony systems to improve their customers experience and keep them working efficiently.

Working as part of the Business Development Team the Technical Sales Consultant will be responsible for global sales (not inc the Americas). Tasked with building long term profitable customer and partner relationships, you can expect to be the primary lead on pre-sales technical enquiries, support users on trial installations, maintain the demonstration systems, contribute to the sales and marketing strategy as well as engaging with internal teams and external stakeholders to ensure the delivery of profitable solutions. The role is interesting, diverse and most importantly vital in retaining a loyal customer base and securing future accounts to enable to business to continue to flourish.

To qualify. We are looking for a Technical Sales Consultant / Business Development Executive / Pre-Sales Consultant / Solution Consultant / Technical Pre Sales Consultant similar with a CV that can demonstrate:

  • Some experience of working with and/or selling business applications and/or some experience of consulting/working within the software technology space;
  • You are educated to degree level or similar level of education;
  • You are a highly presentable and professional individual;
  • The ability to evaluate business requirements versus technology and identify a solution;
  • You are conversant with the use of relevant business focused social media mediums;
  • Excellent written, verbal and presentation skills with excellent business English;
  • The ability to use and act on own initiative;
  • Excellent time management and organisational skills.
