£50,000 - £60,000 plus bonus plus benefits
Excellent opportunity for a skilled HR professional to join a global SAP solutions provider.
Reporting to the People Director, you will work closely with and support the Senior Management Team taking responsibility for all operational and strategic people-based activity within the company. You will share accountability for achieving business targets and objectives.
You will work to align the people function with the needs of the business, developing policies and practices that are effectively communicated and delivered to the company.

The HR Business Partner Role:
+ Work with the People Director to define and implement strategic direction and support the day-to-day management of the people within the business in line with company goals
+ Develop, recommend and implement as agreed, people plans to support the growth of the business, whilst retaining flexibility for change management and within budget
+ Provide advice to line managers on all people related issues. Mentor, coach and develop managers knowledge and skill base of processes and systems to improve overall understanding of how effective people management impacts positively on results. Understand the concept of delivering an internal service
+ Review performance in conjunction with divisional heads and practice directors, make recommendations on salaries, incentives, promotions and keep accurate and up to date job descriptions
+ Research, prepare and produce data and management reporting information to support the senior team and management meetings using a combination of Excel reports and PowerPoint presentations, relating to staff turnover, absence/sickness, references, recruitment and training costs and others
+ Manage all grievance, disciplinary and performance related issues ensuring legal compliance
+ Ensure all policies, procedures and contracts relating to employees are up to date and legally compliant
+ Work with external providers to deliver expected outcomes, such as external agents for visa and immigration cases, pension and benefit matters, private medical cover and training solutions.
+ Be an ambassador and the professional face of the people function of the company
+ Deliver induction and drive the on-boarding process ensuring Line Managers are following the agreed induction procedure
+ Support the team to deliver metrics relating to ticket response times, accuracy and performance reviews
+ Working with the team, manage the day to day responsibilities of the People function ensuring legal compliance and to standard
+ Recruitment & resource planning – advertising, selection, appointment, induction, terms and conditions
+ Remuneration – payroll, salary scales, other benefits
+ Employee relations – disciplinary and grievance, relationship building, provide support and advice to employees
+ Retention – training audits, performance evaluation, personal development plans, succession planning and implementation
+ Administration – management of HR records, contracts, legal and regulatory compliance, management information
+ Termination – exit evaluation, retirement, dismissal, redundancy
+ CIPD to at least intermediate level or equivalent HR related degree.
+ Evidence to support active Continuous Professional Development.
+ Experience working within an SAP environment an advantage.
+ Results focused, visibly supports Executive Team and senior management in attainment of agreed targets and objectives.
+ Demonstrable ability to quickly establish strong and successful working relationships, credibility and respect at all levels both internal and external. Mature and professional, always takes responsibility for own actions.
+ Quick to identify and provide solutions to problems using strong influencing, negotiating and team working skills. Recognition of how team working adds value.
+ Good understanding of finance and business issues with strong commercial acumen.
+ Effective communicator with ability to handle difficult situations with clarity and confidence. Makes sound, intelligent decisions in difficult, pressurised and deadline driven situations
+ Excellent working knowledge of employment law with experience at putting it into common sense practice.
+ Passionate and enthusiastic with commitment to upholding professional and ethical standards. Ambitious with desire to progress to senior management level.
