We are currently recruiting for a dynamic and ever developing financial services organisation that are seeking to recruit an experienced Trainer to join them.

The role will require you to support the training and people development plan. Delivered by way of; the design and delivery of a range of learning activities, stakeholder management, learning contracting, coaching and follow up support on any related learning activities to individuals as identified by the Head of Dept.

Duties will include:

  • Support the embedding and promotion of the Training & Competency scheme through effective learning interventions
  • Development of T&C training material, supporting the Line Managers with technical requirements attached to the scheme
  • Design & delivery of Coaching Skills to a diverse range of Line Managers
  • Development of Train the Trainer activities relating to regulated and or managerial material to support knowledge transfer
  • Provide 1:1 coaching for Line Mangers, Team Leaders and team members where required
  • Delivery of Regulatory element of Company Induction
  • Effective Stakeholder Engagement and Learning Consultancy to develop an effective Training Needs Analysis
  • Demonstrate an appreciation of cost and financial minded management of our People Development Budget for learning design and delivery
  • Learning material design to be in line with signed off Design Strategy & business SLA's
  • Manage and monitor training delivery against agreed schedule and report on progress through People Development reporting mechanism
  • Learning delivery to meet People Development Quality measures and Learning Satisfaction Evaluation
  • Report on agreed KPI's
  • Review and redesign material to improve learner experience meet & People Development Quality measures and Learning Effectiveness Evaluation
  • Demonstrate increased Learning Evaluation scores both Learning Satisfaction and Learning Effectiveness for progressive programmes
  • Design and delivery of Regulated content using a blended learning approach
  • Provide support on an ad-hoc basis to core training interventions delivery as appropriate

Key skills and experience:

  • Previous experience in the design and delivery of a wide range of learning orientated workshops and coaching sessions is essential
  • Previous learning & development experience is essential
  • Previous experience of coaching Line Managers and staff through a Group approved Training & Competence Scheme is essential
  • Previous experience utilising blended learning platforms (LMS, E-learning, Webinars & workshops) is desirable
  • Previous experience of delivering to a range of senior stakeholder is desirable
  • Knowledge of the Training Cycle is essential
  • Detailed understanding of the regulatory requirement for a Training & Competency scheme is essential
  • Robust knowledge of best practice techniques to undertake an effective TNA (Training Needs Analysis) is essential
  • Specialist knowledge of the best practice techniques required to design and deliver inspiring, engaging and effective workshops or briefings to all employees is essential
  • Knowledge of the FCA's T&C Handbook is essential
  • Knowledge of learning contracting and Return on Investment is desirable
