CONSULTANT ORAL AND MAXILLOFACIAL SURGEON
VICTORIA HOSPITAL/QUEEN MARGARET HOSPITAL, DUNFERMLINE
FULL-TIME (10 PA’S 9:1 BASIS)

Applications are invited for the post of Consultant Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeon based at Victoria Hospital, Kirkcaldy with responsibilities at Queen Margaret Hospital, Dunfermline.

The focus of this appointment will be to maintain the delivery of oral and maxillofacial surgery services. The person appointed should have experience in managing head & neck malignancy, salivary gland disease and non-melanotic skin cancer, and will also contribute to a proportionate share of the general work of the department.

A regional network is currently in place with NHS Tayside which provides head and neck cancer services (from Ninewells Hospital, Dundee), TMJ and emergency out-of-hours services on a 1:7 rota (moving to a 1:8 rota with this appointment)

OMFS is a specialty within the Planned Care Directorate which is part of the Acute Services Division.

You must be eligible for inclusion in the Specialist Register or be within 6 months of your expected CCT at the time of interview.
