Experienced School Administrator required at large primary school in Sutton-in-Ashfield

An OFSTED rated 'Good' school based in Sutton-in-Ashfield are seeking to appoint a skilled administrator to join their busy school office. This school works in partnership with Hays Education and are looking for a school experienced candidate who can hit the ground running after Easter.
Your new role
Your new role will start as a temporary contract with the opportunity to go permanent for the right candidate. You will be expected to work normal school hours, 8:00-4:30 with a 30 minute lunch break. Primarily based in the school office, you will be responsible for all ad hoc administration tasks supporting the Office Team Leader in the day-to-day running off the school office. Using SIMS you will input/update all pupil data including attendance, trips and admissions. You will also be required to support in the school finance, where you will use FMS to process purchase orders and generate invoices.
What you'll need to succeed
To be considered for this position, you must have previously worked within a school environment. You must have a good understanding of School Systems - ideally SIMS, FMS or Scholar Pack. You must also have a DBS registered with the Update Service or be willing to apply for a new DBS through Hays - this comes at a cost of £44 which will be deducted from your first weeks wage. Strong Administrative skills and knowledge of Finance is essential. You must also be adept in communicating with a wide range of people as you will be required to liaise with pupils age 4-11, parents, Senior Leaders, Governors and external visitors.
