Our client, a highly respected insurance organisation based in Preston, is currently looking for a Claims Handler.
The successful candidate will need to provide excellent customer service and be able to handle claims across several classes of business.
- Undertake initial notification of loss, assessment and validation of claim circumstances, before calculating accurate settlements.
- Provide high quality and professional assistance, dealing with calls and emails efficiently and politely.
- Recognise, report and handle complaints in respect of the work undertaken by your team.
- Communicate effectively and efficiently with all clients, customers and stakeholders.
- Achieve personal, team and department goals.
- Be aware of and able to flag fraud indicators to relevant people.
- Excellent communication skills.
- Computer literate.
- Ability to undertake multiple tasks and work well under pressure.
- Experience of handling fraudulent claims and complaints handling is useful.
