Orka Financial is recruiting for an Accounts Payable & Expenses Assistant based in central Maidenhead, you will reporting into the Financial Accountant being part of a fast paced team. Previous Accounts Payable experience within a transactional role is required.

Duties

  • Review, code and record supplier invoices
  • Produce monthly supplier statement reconciliations
  • Complete payment runs
  • Review purchase orders
  • Generate PO numbers within agreed time frame
  • Cash & Bank
  • Complete weekly bank reconciliations for approval
  • Make daily/weekly cash-book entries/cash allocations
  • Credit card expenses/staff expenses
  • Process credit card statements, reconcile and process
  • Analyse monthly credit card spend to assist with cost control procedures
  • Assist with prepayment schedules, inter company recharges
  • Assist with the month-end close process

Profile

  • Previous experience within an Accounts Payable role
  • Intermediate - Excel skills
  • Ability to work to deadlines working under pressure

Salary - £23,000 - £25,000 plus benefits
