Level 3 Nursery Nurse required on a permanent basis offering £16,500 - £17,500 per annum based in Gloucester
Your new nursery
You will be providing care and support in a family-run private day nursery that is growing fast due to its reputation and word of mouth. You will be a professional nursery practitioner in a setting that has a homely and nurturing environment. The nursery is set over three floors and has a neutral, calm environment which creates a homely environment where the children can be comfortable and independently learn. The nursery is free flow throughout the building and the children's independence and self-directed learning is encouraged. The ground floor is where the babies are based, the first floor is the toddler floor and the second floor is the preschool floor.
Your new role
As a nursery practitioner within this nursery you will need to be passionate about education. You will be working in a team delivering exceptional day care. You will be helping build and encourage the children's confidence through meaningful activities, interactions and planning activities to suit each individual child. You will be using your creativity to lead stimulating, fun and educational activities, as well as allowing the child to lead their own learning. You will also have your own key children that you will carry out planning, preparation and observations for.
What you'll need to succeed
To be successful for the role you must hold a level 2 or 3 qualification as well as previous nursery experience. You will have a calm and relaxed nature and be passionate about working with children and providing childcare education, through a child-led approach.

The nursery offers a study scheme where they will pay for your training after you prove your commitment and ability after one year of being at the nursery, so interest in further education is desirable.
