You will be working in this 2 form entry primary school in the Farley Hill area of Luton - the school has gone through a massive period of change over the last few years since and has entered somewhat of a renaissance now that there has been clear leadership in place for a few years and the culture & ethos of the learning environment has been allowed to flourish into what it is now - a truly safe place work and learn where the well-being of the human is cared for - be that learner or educator.
You will be teaching a Year 6 class. The children are engaged and eager to learn. You will be 'surplus to headcount' for the first half term meaning that you will be working with the teacher that has resigned (relocating to a different part of the UK) who has agreed to stay with the learners until SATs are over. You will also have the benefit of a full time TA in the classroom.
