To be considered for the Commercial Officer position you need to have gained previous experience in the following areas; drafting and producing contracts and tenders, a good understanding of confidentiality agreements and stakeholder management. It would be advantageous if you possessed Export Licencing knowledge (this is not essential).
Commercial Officer duties and responsibilities:
Reporting to the Commercial Manager, the Commercial Officer will be primarily be responsible for the provision of general commercial support to the commercial team and wider business with a focus on the drafting and management of contracts and commercial agreements.
Support contract negotiations and process reviews with customers
Foster productive relationships with all business stakeholders
Support the review and drafting of commercial agreements as required and investigate contractual issues where necessary.
Support and provide key input into specific tenders and negotiations when required.
Establish a close working relationship with the procurement function.
Provide support to the management and administration of export control activities across the business, including audits, reporting and licencing activities.
Ensure all business activity is undertaken in line with company values, policies and code of business conduct and ethics.
Commercial Officer hours of work: 36 hours per week
